"Since I was a child, wood has held a fascination and reverence. Early memories of my grandfather crafting shaker style furniture from beautiful hardwoods in Kentucky left me with a desire to create beauty as well.

"I aspire to use simple, elegant lines allowing the wood to have voice in its destiny. Most of the designs that the wood and I conspire to illustrate, reflect antiquity or explore non-utilitarian themes.

"It is my great good fortune and privilege to have the opportunity to use wood as my medium."
